In Japan, it's well known that this product is consumed by the ascetic monks of Eiheiji Temple, who are renowned for their rigorous training, even throughout Japan.

Originally, it was produced at Eiheiji Temple, but currently, our company has taken over its production method.

It serves as a valuable source of protein for the ascetic monks who cannot consume animal-based foods such as meat and fish. Being consumed at the strict Eiheiji Temple, the product has a richer and more aromatic flavor, with an aging period approximately twice as long and a 1.2 times higher ratio of rice koji compared to common manufacturing methods.

Due to the higher ratio of rice koji, its characteristics become pronounced when cooked. It comes with a guarantee of safety, trustworthiness, and high quality.
